About the colour: Monument shield
Wageningen has 406 municipal monuments. They are all marked by a shield with the Wageningen coat of arms on it. Central to this is a wagon wheel (‘wagen,’ the first part of the city name, means ‘wagon’). The colours of the shield are white and the burgundy we used for the poster and postcards of Wageningen.

Planet friendly prints
