The ‘fietsappel’ (Bike Apple) is an eye-catcher near the train station of Alphen aan den Rijn. It’s a transparent metal structure that resembles an apple in shape, an image that is enhanced by the apple-green color of the construction. Inside there is a spiral ramp that leads upwards and gives access to bicycle racks.
